GolfAnnual Golf Tournament The Lake Cities Education Foundation Nicholas Hibberd Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on June 7 at Oakmont Country Club with two shotgun starts, 8:00 AM and 1:30 PM. If you have participated in our event in the past, you know how popular it has become. WE WILL SELL OUT BOTH SHOTGUN STARTS. Please sign up early and remember to indicate on the registration form whether you would like to play in the morning or afternoon. There will be awards for the top three morning teams, the top three afternoon teams, as well as the top three teams overall. As always, there will be loads of tee prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. Breakfast and an Awards Luncheon will be provided for the morning players; lunch and an Awards Dinner will be provided for the afternoon players. Sponsorships A variety of sponsorships are available, as listed on the tournament registration form. Participation as a Team or Event Sponsor, as a Prize, Hole or Golf Cart Sponsor, or as a Player would be appreciated greatly. It was renamed the Nicholas Hibberd Memorial Tournament in 2003, after Nicholas Hibberd, son of Larry and Darlene Hibberd, died in a plane crash in December 2002. Proceeds from the tournament were used to start, and a portion each year continues to be used for, the Nicholas Hibberd Scholarship Endowment. |
